Hollie and Bronson were a dream couple to work with and I was so happy to help them pull-off their Parisian elopement this past fall.
The weather was not very co-operative on their wedding day and we had to change the ceremony location last minute. Luckily they had booked a fantastic suite in an ideally located hotel near the Louvre. We just had to do a little redecorating and Voila we had ourselves the perfect spot for a wedding elopement ceremony.
Gorgeous and smiling from ear to ear the Bride and Groom choose to have the symbolic candle exchange included in their ceremony. The simple gesture of creating, and keeping a unified flame, adds so much romance to the moment and is one of my favorite moments of the wedding day.
Once they were happily wed, and we had all enjoyed a nice coupe de Champagne, the newlyweds ran of with Brian from French Grey Photography for their beautiful photography session around central Paris.
Tips for future eloping couples heading to Paris, or anywhere else in the world for that matter. Rain on your wedding day, brings good luck, and makes for some amazing quick-thinking decision making. A skill that will be practiced a lot in your future life as husband and wife!
Happy Holidays to all those couples out there whom were married in Paris this year! And to those that are thinking about doing it in 2014, Happy Planning!
