As I sit here in Paris, patiently waiting for the ( predominantly the coronavirus quarantine to end) and waiting to finally be able to enjoy the spring flowers, I am also counting down the days until I can enjoy Paris again!
Today, I wanted to share with you some images from a spring destination wedding last year which took place at the stunning 5-starred Palace hotel, the Shangri-La Hotel. How amazingly different and life changing can one year be from another?!
Intimate, Elegant and Classy, the perfect brief for Brittany and Christopher’s intimate destination wedding in Paris. This Californian couple celebrated their wedding vows (and the spring of 2019) in style in the Grande Salon of the historical Parisian venue with their closest family and friends in attendance. Audrey from Le Secret D’Audrey was there to capture all these stunning (magazine worthy) couples portraits in her unique style.
I worked with the bride, Brittany on the floral design for her intimate wedding, as the couple wanted a touch of florals to brighten up their ceremony space, but as this was an intimate wedding they didn’t have a huge budget for florals. For the couple, white roses and romance were a must! Brittany wanted a floral runner to adorn the “newlyweds” dinner table, which the couple enjoyed on their private terrace at the Shangri-La Hotel while overlooking the Eiffel Tower. What could be more romantic then this?
Of course a magical and romantic dinner for two cannot be enjoyed without something sweet at the end, so the couple worked with Synie from Synies Paris Cakes for the perfect wedding cake to compliment their vision for their destination wedding in Paris.
