Six weeks into a total shutdown of Parisian life as we know it (due to the coronavirus global epidemic) I sit here in my cozy (yet tiny) Parisian apartment dreaming of spring roses and their heavenly smell.
As the spring roses are in bloom all over our beautiful city of Paris, (and hopefully yours too!) I thought that I would share with you today the wedding photos from a very intimate wedding from last spring which took place at the historical church in the heart of Paris, Chapelle Expiatoire. The gorgeous bride, Sireena who resides in the USA, and her dashing groom David hired me to help them plan a beautiful and effortless wedding day in Paris at this stunning wedding venue.
Sireena’s vision for her wedding day was one filled with colourful roses, pink and red accents and touches of elegant black. The chicest color palette that one could expect for a wedding in Paris! The brides regal ballgown style wedding dress by Cuban bridal designer Lazarro was absolutely heavenly in Paris and was definitely a show stopper. From the moment that the couple left their 5-starred luxury hotel, the Raphael Hotel Paris, they were the king and queen of the day, and boy did they ever fit the part!
After the couples photo tour around Paris, with their Paris based wedding photographer Brian from French Grey Photography, they rejoined their sons and closest family and friends at the church in the heart of Paris. They walked down their “wedding aisle” which was lined with white garden roses that filled the air with their dreamy scent, towards their romantic wedding ceremony.
I officiated the couples intimate wedding vows with a beautiful and carefree ceremony that included guest participation in the form of the couple’s two son’s reading the couples favorite passages about the simplicity and innocence of true love. Creating unique ceremonies for all my clients is one of the true joys of my job, as each couple has a unique story to tell about their love story, I love hearing them all!
All in all this was the perfect wedding day, a romantic photo tour around Paris, a heartfelt wedding ceremony uniting two families, and of course roses, roses and more roses!
